The Gazeta Wyborcza Foundation is serious about protecting personal data. For this reason, we would like to inform you which data is stored and how we use it.

Legal basis for using your data. Pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46 / EC, i.e. the GDPR, data processing is based on one of the following legal bases:
based on your consent (art.6 par.1 a GDPR), which you can revoke at any time;
to establish or perform a contract or other directly related obligations (art.6 par.1 lit.b) GDPR);
in order to enable the fulfillment of legal obligations incumbent on the Gazeta Wyborcza Foundation (art.6 par.1 letter c) of the GDPR);
in order to pursue the legitimate interests of the Gazeta Wyborcza Foundation, unless your interests or fundamental rights prevail (Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
The Gazeta Wyborcza Foundation processes your personal data in cases where:

you support the Foundation’s statutory activity by making online payments,
you contact the Foundation using the form provided on the website,
you subscribe to the Foundation’s newsletter.
Data recipients
Your personal data may in some cases be transferred to other companies or legal entities, in particular service providers (e.g. hosting partners, social media companies, payment service providers, law firms, courier companies, etc.), campaign partners, in particular Agora S.A. and other companies from the Agora S.A. group and state authorities (e.g. tax offices in connection with tax information).

Data Retention
We store your personal data only as long as it is necessary for the purposes for which it is collected, e.g. compliance with all legal, accounting or reporting requirements.

Personal data is stored for the period of electronic provision of services, and after their completion – for the time during which you can file a complaint regarding the provision of services.

If there is a legal requirement to store personal data for a specific period of time, e.g. for tax and accounting purposes, the Foundation processes your data for the time specified in the regulations, e.g. 5 years after the end of the year in which a specific accounting event took place (e.g. payment by donations).

For statutory purposes, the Foundation processes your personal data for a period of 6 years.

In the case of personal data processing based on the consent given, the Foundation ceases processing the data together with the withdrawal of consent to their processing.

Photographic or film documentation
During meetings, celebrations, cultural events, sports competitions, public events and similar events organized by the Gazeta Wyborcza Foundation, as part of its statutory activity, photos and videos may be taken. Photos and videos can be published on our websites or websites with which we cooperate for informational or promotional purposes. The publication of photos is based on art. 81 section 2, points 1 and 2 of the Act of February 4, 1994. on copyright and related rights (Journal of Laws of 2017, item 880, as amended). The person visible in the published photo or video has the right to request the removal of the photo or video from websites and websites. Your rights in relation to the processing of personal data
In connection with the processing of personal data by the Gazeta Wyborcza Foundation, you have the following rights:

access to data content, rectification, deletion, processing restrictions, right to object;
lodging a complaint to the supervisory body (the President of the Office for the Protection of Personal Data) if it finds that the processing of personal data violates the provisions of the GDPR.

II. Cookies policy”
1. General information
Website Operator www.fundacjagazetywyborcza.pl is based in Warsaw (00-732) at ul. Czerska 8/10 entered into the register of associations, other social and professional organizations, foundations and public health care facilities of the National Court Register under the KRS number: 760539.
The website performs the functions of obtaining information about Users and their behavior through:
information voluntarily entered in forms,

2. Information on forms
Service collects information provided voluntarily by the user.

Cookie files (so-called “cookies”) are IT data, in particular text files, which are stored on the Website User’s end device and are intended for using the Website’s pages.
