We want to guarantee open access to high quality journalism for expats and English speakers interested in Poland, and to make sure that everyone can stay up to date with all information related to the current pandemic. At the same time, the economic turmoil caused by Covid-19 is putting inordinate strain on newspapers all around the globe. In Poland, in particular, the government’s swift decision to introduce strict lockdown measures from the early stages of the epidemic has radically decreased the economic activity throughout the country, including within the media sector.
